How can the price be lower without compromising quality?
One implant specialist plans, places and finishes your treatment in one practice, so there is no referral to a second dentist and no second set of fees inside the total. The scan, the implant, the abutment and the crown are quoted once, before you start, and no stage of it is priced separately afterwards. The saving is in how the treatment is run, not in the implant or the crown itself.

Does it hurt?
The placement itself is done under local anaesthetic, so you should not feel pain during it. Pressure and movement, but not pain.
Afterwards, most people describe it as comparable to an extraction: soreness for a few days, managed with ordinary painkillers. Sedation is available if the appointment itself is the part you are dreading, and it is discussed at the consultation rather than sprung on you.
How long does it last?
The implant is a titanium post that bonds to your jawbone, and it is designed to be permanent. What wears is the crown on top of it, which is why the crown is warranted separately: five years on our custom crown, lifetime on the Atlantis crown.
Longevity depends heavily on oral hygiene and on not smoking. Your clinician will be straight with you about your own case at the consultation.
Am I too old for implants?
Age on its own is not a barrier. What matters is bone, gum health and general health, and all three are assessed at the free consultation using the scan.
Plenty of implant patients are in their seventies and eighties. If implants are not right for you, you will be told so at the consultation, at no cost.
What if I don't have enough bone?
This is common, particularly if teeth have been missing for years, and it is exactly what the scan is for. It measures the bone before anyone commits to a plan.
Where bone is short, a bone graft or a sinus lift can build it back. Both are treatments in their own right and are not included in the implant prices on this page; if you need one, you are told the cost at the consultation, before you commit.
An implant-retained denture also works with less available bone than a fixed arch, which is sometimes the simpler answer.
Do you offer sedation?
Yes. Sedation options are part of what the free consultation covers, and they are included in the treatment plan you are quoted rather than added afterwards.
If nervousness is the reason you have put this off, say so when you enquire. It is the most common reason people delay and it is not treated as unusual here.
What if an implant fails?
Implant failure is uncommon but it is not impossible, and any practice that tells you otherwise is overselling. The usual causes are infection, smoking and insufficient bone, which is why all three are assessed before treatment starts.
Your written treatment plan sets out what happens in that event, along with the warranty attached to your crown tier. Ask for that section specifically at the consultation.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes. Every route on this page can be spread monthly, from €32 per month for a single implant, subject to status and to a credit agreement.
The exact figures for your case, meaning the amount, the term and the rate, are on your written treatment plan before you sign anything.
How long will I be off work?
Most people take the rest of the placement day and return to a desk job the next day. If your work is physical, allow two to three days.
The long part of the process is the 3–4 month healing phase, and it asks nothing of you: you carry on normally while the bone bonds to the implant.
